Fernande is a 71' custom-built ketch that accommodates 11 passengers in 5 cabins.

Built of sturdy aluminum, Fernande was built to race across oceans, but has since been converted into a fast, and comfortable high-latitude Antarctic expedition sailer. She now "tiptoes" around the Antarctic, South Georgia and Patagonia, exploring the remote wonders unique to the bottom of the world with respect to the fragile ecosystem there. With an experienced captain and crew, she has proven herself in the icy Southern Ocean.
